Seventh Avenue Senior Center
The Senior Center has been in continuous operation since it’s founding in 1961 on meeting on Thursdays from 10am – 2pm.
The Center is open for anyone 55 and over and on any given Thursday there will be discussion covering a wide-range of subjects along with entertainment, singing, musical performances and exercise. People are asked to bring their own bag lunch with coffee and tea provided.
The Center is a class of City College under the Older Adults Department taught by their Director, Shelley Glazer; and since it is a class the center’s calendar matches that of the college with participants registering at the beginning of each quarter.
