2nd Wednesdays, 7:00 – 8:30 PM
Each month, an intergenerational gathering of women takes place. Though we have individual personalities and histories, varying understandings of the Holy, and different preferences in spiritual practices, this humble gathering inevitably becomes a rich experience. Together, we are met with a growing sense of gentleness and generosity, flexibility and resiliency of spirit.
Though the content changes, the format of the meeting remains the same:
- We gather on second Wednesdays, September through May, from 7 to 8:30 PM, either in Cumberland Hall or in Pastor Meyers’ office (depending on our druthers).
- We open with a check-in, move into a spiritual practice, and close with prayer.
- Spiritual practices vary, some old (e.g. lectio, audio, visio divina; centering prayer; contemplative listening; versions of labyrinths) and many new (including responding in various ways to contemporary art, embodiment practices, and visualizations).
Whether you have attended the group for a long time, or have never come before, you are invited to come and be as you are.
If you have any questions, please talk with the facilitator, Pastor Jenna Meyers.
