Seventh Avenue Presbyterian Church

Seventh Avenue Presbyterian Church

What to Expect

Masks are currently optional in worship and other church gatherings. Click here to read more.

If you are coming to our church for the first time — you may have some questions. If your questions aren’t answered here, don’t hesitate to contact us.

How should I dress?
Casual or Semi-Casual if you like to dress up for church!

Where should I park and where do I enter the building?
Parking can be found in the lot across the street, or street parking around the neighborhood. Please allow a few extra minutes to find a spot.

What is the worship service like?
One of the first things you will notice upon attending Seventh Avenue is that we are a very warm and vibrant community. Our worship service follows the lectionary, we sing hymns and Taize-style chants, and gather in a circle to receive communion every week. We hope you will stop by and experience our service for yourself!

Are there any classes for my children during the service?
Children may stay in worship or attend childcare, regathering for Communion. Sunday school classes are currently offered weekly during the school year (September through May).

What happens after worship?
Join us for some tea, coffee and light snacks in the social hall adjacent to the sanctuary! From September through May (following the academic calendar) we have Perspectives @ 11.30am offering a forum on a wide variety of topics.
