The Rev. Jenna Meyers received her Master of Divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Philosophy from Cornell College, Mount Vernon, IA.
For Jenna, social justice and the spiritual life flow into one another. Alongside her ministry at Seventh Avenue Church, she is also a certified Domestic Violence Counselor and Advocate.
Jenna is wired as a theologian and contemplative artist. She studied painting at Pont-Aven School of Contemporary Art, Brittany, France and blends non-objective painting and other forms of art with spiritual practice.
She is a liturgical leader, facilitator of Seventh Avenue's Women's Spirituality group, co-leader of retreats throughout the year, and pastoral liaison to the Children's Ministry and Mission Teams.
Prior to coming to San Francisco, Jenna was Director of Children’s Ministry at Green Mountain Presbyterian Church, Lakewood, CO and served as a chaplain at Presbyterian/St Luke’s Medical Center, Denver, CO. Joyfully committed to interfaith understanding, she worked on projects for the Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religions and has served as an advocate for refugee families.
